Make institutions prove their independence, not just claim it. Require every constitutional body — courts, the Election Commission, investigative agencies — to publish, in plain language, who was appointed, by whom, and on what criteria, plus an annual accountability report reviewed by an all-party panel. Trade-off I'd accept: more transparency friction and political discomfort, in exchange for trust citizens can verify instead of trust they're simply told to have.
