Trust in India's institutions is cracking. How do we rebuild it?

Many Indians say they've lost faith in politics, the courts, the media, and the Election Commission — while others say these institutions are being undermined for political gain. This platform takes no side: whether you work inside these institutions or have lost trust in them, don't just say 'the system is broken.' Make institutions prove their independence, not just claim it. Require every constitutional body — courts, the Election Commission, investigative agencies — to publish, in plain language, who was appointed, by whom, and on what criteria, plus an annual accountability report reviewed by an all-party panel. Trade-off I'd accept: more transparency friction and political discomfort, in exchange for trust citizens can verify instead of trust they're simply told to have.
